Brainizz is a free quiz website for curious people who like to learn by testing themselves. Pick a subject, answer a few questions and find out straight away what you got right, and why.

What you will find

Quizzes are organised the way you would browse a library: categories such as science, history, geography, languages and technology are split into topics, and each topic into focused subtopics. Every quiz is marked easy, medium or hard and shows how many questions it has and roughly how long it takes.

Most questions are multiple choice. Some are picture questions, such as recognising a flag or a landmark.

How playing works

Choose an answer and it is checked immediately, so you know on the spot whether you were right.
Your first answer counts, which keeps scores honest.
Where a question has an explanation, you see it right after answering.
At the end you get your score and can review every question you answered.

Progress that keeps you coming back

Earn XP for every quiz, scaled by your score, and level up as it adds up.
Keep a daily streak going and complete daily goals for bonus XP.
Unlock achievements for milestones like perfect scores and long streaks.
See where you stand on the public leaderboard.

Free to use

Anyone can browse every category and quiz. Playing, saving your progress and appearing on the leaderboard need a free account, which you can create with an email address or with Google. Brainizz does not charge for quizzes.

Our content

We aim for quizzes that are accurate, clearly worded and fair. Facts do change, and mistakes can slip through, so if you spot something wrong, please let us know and tell us which quiz and question it is.

Your privacy

Other people only ever see your username and your quiz activity, such as your level, XP, stats and achievements. Your email address is never public. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and why.
